What you can expect

When considering selling your property with ALTI Home Buyers, it's important to understand the process and what you can expect as a seller. Here's an overview of how our process typically works:

      Initial Contact

Once you've filled out the contact form, I will call or email to schedule a time to discuss your property. Often this is within a few hours up to 24 hrs. (Unless it's a holiday or weekend, unless you specify urgency, I won't pester you on days off!) During this time I will do a bit of research. I will have a soft offer at the time I reach out, unless more information is needed.

      Property Evaluation

I love coming and viewing properties. This gives me the most accurate idea on what to offer. I will schedule a time to come when I reach out to you.

      Offer and Contract

After I view the property, I will speak with my partner and we'll come up with a firm offer. I will email this offer, or bring in person if you are in Utah Valley. The offer will be in the form of a Letter of Intent. If you accept, you'll sign a purchase agreement. This contract gives the me the right to buy your property at the agreed-upon price within a specified timeframe.

      Property Inspections

After signing the contract, I will bring my partner the final details, at which point they will want to view your property and schedule an inspection. Depending on the specified time frame, this should be within 1 to 2 weeks. (Faster if the contract specifies.)

      Foreclosure or Terms

If the property is in foreclosure with an active auction date, we will act to stop the foreclosure. If you're selling through terms (owner financing), we'll set up escrow and other processes as defined by the contract.

      Closing

The final step is closing the sale. This happens with a title company. Depending on your location, I will work to find a title company near you. Closing can also be done remotely, though I prefer to be there in person in case you have any further questions. The process can be faster than traditional sales, often completed within 30 days or less.
